When you need a licence
You will only require a licence to operate the equipment if the hire period runs continuously for more than twelve months. We hold the licence that permits you to operate the hire equipment. If you are hiring equipment for use within the petrochemical or road construction environments then we would suggest the use of special frequencies, for which we are licenced. What information to provide
We will need to know the geographic area of use, the application and the type of messages being passed. No more, no less.
How much will it cost
The licence cost is included within our hire charge.
Why do I need a licence at all ?
The requirements of the Government' Radio Agency necessitate the holding of a licence for all use of radio except where these occur within the licence exempt frequency bands. We do NOT recommend that you hire licence exempt equipment for use at events etc, due to the interference which often occurs on these frequencies due to overcrowding. We hold a stock of suitable equipment.
